Annette Westman was a villain in the series.
She was a bitter woman who wanted revenge on everyone who mistreated her in high school, one them being Lois Lane whom she had always envied.
Personality[]
Annette was a vengeful, bitter woman who was scarred emotionally by her cruel treatment in high school. She often complained that she was never asked to a dance or shown any kindness or respect.
If she had learned to stop living in the past and moved on as she was now beautiful and a success, she would have had less reason to resort to these cruel measures.
She also showed various signs of jealousy around Lois, whom she felt got too much attention and often behaved bratty when things didn't go her way.
History[]
Annette was a student at Metropolis High School, but she was often ignored and unpopular with the other students.
She had a crush on Joe Malloy one of the Metropolis Lion Football Quarterbacks and went to everyone of his games, but he never noticed her. Julie the head cheerleader always teased Annette about her weight, dress sense, braces and way of talking. She also disliked her fellow student Peggy Barrish because she was the attractive Homecoming Queen who always got all the attention, boys and valentines, making her feel left out.
She even ran for Class President, but lost to the popular Lois. After graduating, she lived alone in an apartment with her pet cat.
Years later she established her own cosmetics company called "Westman Cosmetics" and came up with a scheme of revenge for her mistreatment.
She stole some research notes from scientist Dr. Graham about a secret formula that shrank people and objects into miniatures. She created the formula into a harmless looking Shampoo and had her henchman Hans to deliver it to the houses of Joe and Peggy.
As a result both Joe's wife Debbie and Peggy's husband Les shrunk down to miniature size. Hans in the disguise of a pest exterminator, then put them in sack and brought them back to Annette who imprisoned them in a Lego made dollhouse with pencils tied on as bars and made them dress up in ridiculous outfits from the dollhouse wardrobe. Both Joe and Peggy were upset at losing their loved ones and Annette rang up to give them support but was in truth, enjoying seeing them suffer. Annette would also go to the dollhouse to taunt their spouses.
Season 3[]

Sometime later Annette organized the Metropolis High School reunion, determined to be the one who would be the most admired while Lois' life would be ruined. She met Lois who was now a top reporter at the Daily Planet, engaged to the handsome Clark Kent and was still getting most of the attention from their old classmates. She had Hans set up an insane scene where she would get all the attention. Hans unscrewed the disco ball from the ceiling where it would fall where Annette was standing, but narrowly miss her, making it look like she had been involved in an accident.
Using a hidden microphone in her corsage, she was ready to give Hans the signal. Unfortunately Lois stood in the exact place where Annette had set up the scene and Hans was unable to stop the disco ball from falling.
To make matters worse, as the disco ball fell on Lois, Superman arrived and caught it. Furious that Lois had got the attention yet again, Annette was even more determined to make Lois suffer.
Back at her apartment she decided to set her plan in motion, she had Hans deliver two bags of the shampoo; one to Julie's husband Dick and the other to Clark Kent. The shrinking formula in the shampoo did it's work, but while Hans succeeded in capturing Dick, he was unable to capture Clark, who unknown to him was a Kryptonian so the process was taking longer.
Annette was furious that Hans had only succeeded to bring one of them and told him to find out what had happened. Hans went to Clark's apartment later that night and observed Clark slowly shrinking from one of the windows and told his boss that it had started.

Later Annette called at the Daily Planet to arrange a lunch date with Lois. She was delighted when she heard that Julie was with her, upset about Dick's disappearance. The cruel woman pretended to be sorry and told Julie to stay strong and that Dick's devotion to her would bring him back.
Hans meanwhile, continued to look for Clark, but to no avail. While still searching, he heard Lois enter and hastily went to Clark's shower to take away the evidence. However as he was leaving, he bumped into Lois and dropped the shampoo into one of the potted plants. Not knowing what he had done, Hans went back to Annette, telling her that Clark might have shrunk away to nothingness. Lois had now found the shampoo and had now put all the pieces together of the other spouses' disappearances. Clark by this time had shrunk to a miniature size and in his identity as Superman was on his way to Annette's apartment to find out what was happening.
Annette was in bed when she suddenly received a visit from Lois who looked deeply upset at losing Clark. Annette was delighted and began to show false sympathy in the same way. Lois then asked if she could come in. Though Annette said they should meet tomorrow, but Lois pushed past her, saying she had to sit down.
Annette began to notice Lois' suspicions of her collection from high school. Annette explained that she had been assembling it all for the reunion. Lois then saw Julie's old cheerleader outfit and Joe's football helmet, telling her it was strange that she owned those things considering she was friends with neither of them in high school. Annette became bitter and began mentioning her past of being ignored by Joe and teased by Julie. Lois then asked what she had done to make Annette hate her so much.

Annette told Lois to leave, but Lois asked her why she was doing this as she had never done anything to make her resort to something this terrible. Annette then openly revealed her bitter resentment to Lois by saying that she had lost the election of Class President to her and had always been envious of her success. Lois then asked her about Peggy and she revealed she had always resented her too as she had always been getting the attention. She then said that the tables had now been turned as she was now the one comforting them in their times of pain, even Lois.
Lois was disgusted and berated Annette for her cruelty, saying that she was only enjoying seeing them suffer. Suddenly noises began to come from the dollhouse and though Annette tried to stop her, Lois went straight over to it and saw Debbie, Les and Dick inside, discovering that Annette was indeed responsible for the disappearances of the spouses.
Annette pulled out a gun and aimed it at Lois, asking sadistically if Lois needed a hug as Clark wasn't around and Hans hadn't found him so he might have shrunk away to nothing. Lois urged Annette to make things right by turning over the notes she stole from Dr. Graham, but she refused, declaring that if Lois didn't need her then it was the same likewise. She then shot Lois, which knocked her to the ground but Superman had flown into Lois' pocket and caught the bullet as it hit.

Assuming Lois to be dead, Annette then decided to use the formula to shrink Lois out of existence and picked up an enormous bottle containing it to pour on the supposed dead body. However Superman managed to push the couch into Annette, knocking her against the wall and shattering the bottle which spilt the formula all over her. Annette screamed as she began shrinking. Eventually all that was left was her clothes and shoes. Instead of Lois, Annette herself had shrunk out of existence.
Afterwards Debbie, Les and Dick were freed and with the help of Dr. Klein from S.T.A.R. labs, everyone including Clark were restored to normal and reunited with their loved ones. Hans was presumably arrested due to his involvement with Annette.
