Anonymous is a villain in the series.
He was a dangerous criminal who committed crimes whilst wearing many ingenious disguises so he would never be caught.
Biography[]
When the President of Tanzor, a nation that has long been at war, is announcing that a peace treaty will be taking place in Metropolis, his political enemies hire Anonymous to kidnap the President of Tanzor and force him to divulge missile launch codes. He first attempts to kidnap the President himself, but fails. When he learns Superman is the subject of a child custody lawsuit, he then tries to use it to his advantage by disguising himself as a sleazy lawyer.
He manages to convince the "super boy" into kidnapping the President at a meet and greet by getting himself to fly off with the President whilst Anonymous is disguised as a grandfather. Later, when the President is captured, Anonymous, now in his lawyer disguise, attempts to placate the restless super-boy by saying that his mother will be back soon with lots of toys whilst a computer hacker breaches Tanzor's military arsenal system. When the hacker succeeds at accessing the system, he says having to listen to superpowered kid throw a tantrum gave him a headache. Anonymous remarks "then take of these", pointing a pistol at him and firing twice, killing the man. Anonymous then forces the President of Tanzor into divulging the launch codes by injecting him with a truth serum.
However, he only gets some of the codes as the truth serum has the side effect of simulating intoxication, as soon the President is singing to himself in a drunken haze. Enraged, Anonymous has no choice but to figure out the remainder of the codes by guesswork.
