The Globe
The Krypton Globe is a device that resembles Superman's home planet of Krypton.
It was attached to Superman's spaceship by Superman's biological parents Jor-El and Lara as a way of giving their son the information he needed about his origins and heritage just before they sent their son to Earth and Krypton was destroyed.

After baby Superman landed in Smallville, the ship along with the globe was stolen by an organisation called Bureau 39 and kept in a warehouse, but during an investigation, Clark found and retrieved it. (Strange Visitor (From Another Planet))
A few months later it began glowing and showed Clark holograms of his father Jor-El telling his son about his past showing images of himself and his mother saving their son. However Lex Luthor stole it and saw a few of the images himself, also understanding Superman's past.

But Superman managed to get it back and it showed one final image of himself as a baby leaving the planet before it's explosion. Clark realized that his biological parents had saved his life and held them in high regard, but was still puzzled at why they couldn't of saved themselves.
The globe was then kept in Clark's old childhood tree house called the Fortress of Solitude in Smallville where no one would steal it again. So far no more images and holograms had been shown after that. (Foundling)
