Great Shades of Elvis!—Perry White, Neverending Battle
Perry White is a main character in the series.
He is the Elvis Presley-loving Daily Planet's editor in chief who was a elderly figure to Lois Lane, Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen.
Personality[]
Perry has a jolly sense of humor and is always backing up his reporters 100%. He sees Clark, Lois and Jimmy as family and goes about giving them support and good advice often quoting lyrics from Elvis's songs. He also loves his wife and two sons dearly.
However he has been shown to be a little hot-tempered on occasion. One such time was when he got exasperated by everyone asking if he was okay and promised to fire the next person who asked him. However he is still a good friend and boss.
His main catchphrases are "Great Shades of Elvis!" and "Judas Priest!"
History[]
Perry's history isn't mentioned too much on the show except that he joined the Daily Planet at the age of 16 as a copy boy. Eventually his skills impressed the board of directors and he got promoted to editor in chief. He then met and married the lovely Alice Spencer and had two sons Jerry and Keith.
